It is bordered by the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC, upper centre), Tanzania (top right), Malawi (right), Mozambique (lower right), Zimbabwe (bottom right), Botswana (bottom left), Namibia (lower left), and Angola (left). Lake Kariba (blue, lower centre) - the world's largest artificial lake, can be seen straddling the border with Zimbabwe. Two of the African Great Lakes - Lake Malawi (blue, far right) and Lake Tanganyika (blue, top right), can also be seen. Image compiled from data acquired by the LANDSAT 5 and 7 satellites, in 2000.
