Caption: Maidenhair tree (Ginkgo huttonii) fossilised leaves. This is an extinct relative of the living maidenhair tree (Gingko biloba). This specimen dates to the Upper Deltaic of the Middle Jurassic, around 180 to 160 million years ago. It was found in Sealby Ness, Yorkshire, UK.
