Alcohol detector for traffic police

Rights Managed

Drunk driving. A laser-based detector that can remotely sense alcohol fumes inside a passing car on show. The device is aimed at allowing traffic police to detect drivers who have had alcohol by scanning every car that passes. Any suspicious car may then be stopped for further testing, for example by breathalyser. Photographed at the Interpolytech 2010 exhibition in Moscow, Russia.
