Caption: Sir Konstantin Novoselov (b.1974), Russian-British physicist and Nobel Laureate. Novoselov was born at Nizhny Tagil, Russia, and studied in Moscow and Nijmegen, Netherlands, before moving to Manchester in the UK. He was awarded the 2010 Nobel Prize for Physics jointly with Andre Geim for their work on graphenes - single atom thick sheets of carbon. Novoselov holds joint UK-Russian citizenship. Photographed in Moscow in 2010.
