Voskhod-1 set a number of records: it was the first spaceflight with more than one crew member, was the first to be flown without the crew wearing spacesuits and set a new height record of 336km. It was launched on 12 October 1964 carrying cosmonauts Vladimir Komarov, Konstantin Feoktistov and Boris Yegorov. The spacecraft made 16 orbits of Earth before landing the following day.
