Caption: DNA repair enzyme. Molecular model of a recG molecule (blue) complexed with a three-way DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid, pink, orange and green) junction. RecG binds to DNA when a replication fork is stalled due to a damaged DNA strand. RecG reverses the fork past the damage, creating a four-way (Holliday) junction that allows the damage to be repaired.
