Caption: Intercosmos-10 satellite being prepared for launch. The Soviet Intercosmos-10 was launched on 30 October 1973 from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. It performed a variety of space science investigations, notably about the electrical coupling of the magnetosphere and ionosphere. It burnt up on re-entry on 1 August 1977.
