Protrack are a private anti-poaching unit in South Africa. Each ranger is trained in firearms, survival techniques and conservation issues. Despite security, the number of rhinoceroses being poached for their horns is increasing each year. Rhinoceros horns are highly valued in some traditional medicines and for decorative use.
