Protrack is a private anti-poaching company. Armed rangers are hired to protect wildlife parks and farms against poachers. Rhinos are very short sighted and rely on hearing and sense of smell to detect predators. they are easy to approach making them easy targets for poachers. Rhinoceros horns are illegally poached and sold for use as ornaments and traditional medicines.
