Caption: Bridge of Sighs, Oxford. This skyway, the Hertford Bridge, crosses New College Lane and connects two buildings of Hertford College, part of the University of Oxford, UK. The popular name refers to its supposed similarity with the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy. The Hertford Bridge was designed by British architect Thomas Graham Jackson (1835-1924), and completed in 1914.
