Caption: Pankov Glasses. A patient wearing Pankov Glasses, a device that shines light of various colours into the eyes. Invented by Russian ophthalmologist Oleg Pankov, the device is claimed to be able to cure a wide range of eye conditions through 'quantum bioresonance' combined with magnetotherapy. This includes sessions of repeated pulses of light shone into the eyes, ostensibly to improve microcirculation. Photographed in 2002.
