Caption: Ctenochasma flying reptile, artwork. This flying reptile lived around 150 million years ago, during the Late Jurassic. The smallest species had a wingspan of 25 centimetres. It fed on aquatic invertebrates, straining water through its jaws in filter feeding fashion with its hundreds of comb-like close-packed teeth.
