Caption: Volcano. Dead trees in a forest near a volcano. The trees were killed during the Great Tolbachik Fissure Eruption in Kamchatka, Russia, in 1975. Several new cinder cones were created during the eruption on the flanks of the Tolbachik volcano. The eruption produced ash and lava flows. Further eruptions occurred in 2012.
