Caption: KSHV virus capsid, molecular model. KSHV is Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus. The virus is an oncovirus, which is a virus that can cause cancer and its name is derived from being the causitive agent of Kaposi’s sarcoma in patients with AIDS.
