Caption: Pacific sea nettle (Chrysaora fuscescens) jellyfish. This species has a distinctive golden-brown bell, up to 30 cm in diameter, whitish oral arms, and 24 thin reddish tentacles that may be several meters long. Contact with the tentacles can produce a painful sting. They are found along the Pacific coast from Mexico to British Columbia.
