Caption: View of Knole, 'The South Prospect of Knole'. Knole House, Sevenoaks, Kent. Bought in 1456 by Thomas Bourchier, Archbishop of Canterbury, and later owned by Henry VIII. Image taken from Thirty Six Different Views of Noblemen and Gentlemen's Seats, in the county of Kent, all designed upon the spot, by the late T. Badeslade and engraved by the best hands. Originally published in H. Chapelle: London, 1750?. Author Thomas Badeslade, Illustrated by J Kip.
