Caption: Seal of Waleran de Beaumont, Obverse of seal Impression of seal of Waleran de Beaumont, Count of Meulan and Earl of Worcester. He is mounted, in armour, with coif cap of mail, conical helmet with nasal, hauberk coat of mail, and surcoat with long skirt. On his right wrist he has a bag-shaped maunch, or loose sleeve, and holds a banner with three streamers. In his left hand has a convex shield wirh central spike. His horse has an ornamental saddle and breast-band Originally published in England; circa 1144-1166.
