Caption: Fifth Seal of King Charles I, Obverse of seal Impression of the Fifth Seal of King Charles I. The king enthroned, with crown, and holding an orb and sceptre, with an eagle either side. The throne has a carved shell-shaped back, two cherubs hold up a shield with the royal arms of England, and above, a curtain and circular canopy with scalloped valances. At the sides, on carved projecting side corbels, the lion and unicorn support lances and flags Originally published in England; 1644.
