Caption: Dead vlei, is a clay pan situated 2 kilometres from Sossousvlei in the Namib-Naukluft National Park of Namibia, Southern Africa. The pan contains a number of dead Camelthorn trees (Acacia erioloba) as a result of the river, which watered the pan, having changed its course.
