Caption: Apollo-Soyuz Test Project preparation. American expert group in the Flight Control Center of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP). From left: Jack Cammen (navigation and guidance systems), Charles Lewis, (group head), Joseph Glickman (interpreter), Steve McLendon (life support), Bob Becker (ballistics) and Bob Overmyer (communications operator, astronaut). The ASTP was a joint US-Soviet programme to allow spacecraft from each nation to dock in orbit as a symbol of future cooperation. The mission took place between 15-24th July 1975. Photographed in Moscow Oblast, in 1975.
