Caption: Molotov cocktail containers from the second World War. Molotov cocktails, or petrol bombs, are improvised incendiary devices. Petrol is put in a glass container and a lit wick is put in the container's opening. The device is thrown and the glass smashes upon impact forming a fireball. The name 'Molotov cocktail' was coined by the Finns and refers to the Soviet foreign minister from 1939 to 1949 Vyacheslav Molotov.
