Caption: Iberian stillborn funeral. Artwork of a stillborn baby being buried by a priest in the floor of the home of a family during the Iberian period. The Iberians were a grouping of pre-Roman Iron Age peoples living in the eastern and southern regions of the Iberian peninsula. It is thought that they arrived in the area in the Neolithic period, from around 5000 BC.
