Caption: Northern Bald Ibis (Geronticus eremita). This bird uses its long beak to catch its prey, which includes insects, spiders, reptiles and amphibians as well as small mammals and birds. It is now critically endangered, mainly due to hunting and changes in habitat. Males and females look alike. Photographed in Mulhouse Zoo, France.
