Caption: Inverted nasal papilloma, light micrograph. This is a benign (non-cancerous) tumour where surface epithelial cells grow inwards. It is often fast growing and around five per cent of cases become malignant. Therefore it is usually surgically removed. Magnification: x40 when printed at 10 centimetres tall. Human tissue.
