Caption: ASTP mission control. Flight controllers overseeing the joint US-Soviet Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) from the Soviet Mission Control Centre, near Moscow, Russia. The ASTP mission took place from 15-24 July 1975. A Russian Soyuz and American Apollo spacecraft docked in orbit on 17 July to test a jointly-designed international docking mechanism. Photographed on 17 July 1975.
