Caption: Rhabditis rainai nematode, light micrograph. This nematode worm was previously assigned to the genus Metarhabditis. The mouthpart is at top right, while the anus and tail are at bottom right. The internal organs are mostly the intestines and ovaries and eggs. This nematode worm is being studied as a potential biocontrol agent against Formosan termites. Nematodes are small unsegmented worms. They are generally 1-2 millimetres long.
