Caption: Biogas-powered truck at a filling station. Biogas (methane and carbon dioxide) is used to power the truck. This truck is part of a fleet of biogas-powered cars operated by Trifyl, the company providing the household waste disposal and management service for the French region of Tarn. The biogas is produced from the landfill bioreactor operated by Trifyl. It is either burned to produce electricity, or used directly as a fuel, as here. Photographed in 2012, in Graulhet, France.
