This site contains remains of people from the Magdalenian culture, the period between 17,000 and 12,000 BC (Upper Paleolithic) in Western Europe. Magdalenians are particularly known for their decorative carving of bone, antler and ivory. Reconstruction by Elisabeth Daynes of the Daynes Studio, Paris, France.
