Caption: Yellow-tailed black cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus funereus), 18th-century artwork. Thought to be by Thomas Watling, this is drawing 137 from the Watling Collection, which dates from the period 1788 to around 1797. The paintings were made in the area around what is now Sydney, Australia. The collection is held at the Natural History Museum, London, UK.
