Caption: Einstein's mass-energy equation. The equation resulted from his 1905 paper on Special Relativity. It states that mass (m) and energy (E) are related by the square of the speed of light in a vacuum (c). This means that a lot of energy can be released from a small mass, which is the basis of nuclear reactions in stars and atomic bombs. Einstein rewrote the concepts of space, time and gravity.
