Caption: Apollo 17 astronaut Dr. Harrison 'Jack' Schmitt broadcasting live from the Moon. Dr Schmitt opened his gold plated visor and looked into the TV camera mounted on the lunar rover. As of 2014, he is the last person to have ever set foot on the Moon. The Apollo 17 mission took place between the 7th and 19th of December 1972.
