Caption: Geometer. Historical artwork of a man pointing to a geometry diagram. This engraving is by Ignaz Sebastian Klauber (1753-1817) after a drawing by Lefort, after a painting by Hans Bol (1534-1593). Klauber, a member of the French Academy, produced this engraving in St Petersburg where he was engraver to the royal court.
