Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) developing on a vulvar wart. Squamous cells are flat scale-like cells in the upper layers of the skin. Squamous cell carcinoma is the second most common type of skin cancer and mostly affects the elderly. Treatment is with surgical removal of the tumor, combined with radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
