Caption: An illustrated view of the abdominal aorta and the various branches that deliver blood to major organs in the abdomen. The celic trunk branches into the common hepatic, left gastric and splenic arteries, while the superior and inferior mesenteric arteries supply the small and large intestine respectively. The abdominal aorta bifurcates to create a pair of common iliac arteries which deliver blood to the legs.
