Caption: Water is boiled in a large metal can over a Bunsen burner. When the heat is turned off and the can is sealed, the water vapour condenses as it cools. This lowers the gas pressure inside the can, causing it to crumple. Image 1 of 2. For the second image in the series, see image number BV3937.
