Caption: Wolf research. Hand-reared gray wolf (Canis lupus) using a touchscreen computer at the Wolf Science Center, Austria. This wolf has been trained to observe a split screen and count the number of dots shown. It indicates which of the two screens shows the most number of dots by touching it with its nose. The wolf is able to complete the task at rapid speed and receives a food reward for each correct answer.
