Caption: Berlin Wall, East Side Gallery. The Berlin Wall existed between 1961 and 1990, dividing West Berlin from East Berlin and the rest of East Germany. It was 155 kilometres long, with concrete sections 3.6 metres tall. The longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall is a 1.3-kilometre-long stretch covered in graffiti, known as the East Side Gallery. Photographed in April 2014, in Berlin, Germany.
