Caption: SpaceX Dragon capsule at the ISS. View from the International Space Station (ISS) of the third Dragon cargo capsule from SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies). This capsule was designed and manufactured under NASA's COTS (Commercial Orbital Transportation Services) initiative, set up to encourage private companies to ship cargo to the ISS after the retirement of the shuttle program in 2011. Launched as mission SpaceX CRS-3 on 18 April from Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA, the capsule was captured by the space station and successfully berthed. Photographed by an Expedition 39 crew member on 20 April 2014.
