Historical image showing the remains of the British airship R-101 after it crashed in France on 5th October 1930 during its maiden voyage overseas. 48 of the 54 people onboard were killed. Published in The Illustrated London News, England, 1935, in a special issue marking the Silver Jubilee of the reign of King George V (1910-1935).
