Caption: Humanoid robot. Nao (foreground) and AR-600 (background) humanoid robots. Nao is a programmable humanoid robot built by French company Aldebaran Robotics. It is 58 centimetres tall, weighs 4.3 kilograms and is able to walk, run and even dance. On board cameras and sensors allow Nao to respond to visual and audible cues. AR-600 is a full-sized humanoid highly-adaptive platform with navigation and communication artificial intelligence. It is capable to independently fulfil difficult logical tasks, to carry on simple controlled dialogue and to move and orientate itself.
