Caption: Tropical Cyclone Cristina. Satellite image of Tropical Cyclone Cristina over the eastern Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Mexico. At this point, the storm had reached maximum sustained winds of nearly 240 kph, making it the equivalent of a category 4 hurricane, and was moving west-northwest at a speed of 13 kph. Imaged by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer on NASA's Aqua satellite, at 10.40am local time, on 12th June 2014.
