Caption: Astronomical clock. Astronomical clock above the north entrance to Bracken House, London, UK. This clock, which depicts months of the year the day of the month and signs of the zodiac, also tells the time. It was designed by Philip Bentham (with Frank Dobson) and installed in 1959 when the building was opened. In the centre is an image of Winston Churchill, a friend of Brendan Bracken, the former chair of the Financial Times newspaper, which was published in this building until the 1980s.
