Caption

Kimmeridge Oil Field. View of Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset, UK, with the 'nodding donkey' oil pumps (upper right) of the BP Kimmeridge Oil Field on top of the cliffs in the background. This well produces about 80 barrels of oil a day from the underlying oil shale cliffs. It was first drilled in 1959 and claims to be 'probably the oldest continually producing wellsite in the UK'.
