Caption: Poyang Lake, China, satellite image. This is the largest freshwater lake in China. However, due to drought and the building of the Three Gorges Dam, recent dry seasons have seen the lake reduced from over 3,500 square kilometres to only 200 square kilometres. Image obtained by the Deimos satellite on 12th November 2010.
