Caption: Lunar craters. Historical satellite image of craters on the farside of the moon, including the Meggers Crater, which was named in honour of William Meggers (1888-1966). Also seen are craters named for H. G. Wells, Georg Cantor/Moritz Cantor, Kidinnu, Carl Keenan Seyfert, Ivan Ivanovich Polzunov, William Tyler Olcott, Nikola Tesla, Adriaan van Maanen, Arthur Robert Hogg/Frank Scott Hogg, Robert T. A. Innes, and Vladimir Ivanovich Vernadskii. Imaged by the Lunar Orbiter V spacecraft, on 1st August 1967.
