Caption: Capped wheatear (Oenanthe pileata). This small bird inhabits savannah and bare scrub in southern parts of Africa. Like other wheatears, it perches on mounds and hops over the short grass, or flies low over the ground. It feeds mainly on terrestrial insects. Photographed in South Africa's Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
