Caption: Sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus) skeleton. Visitors gazing at a display of a complete sperm whale skeleton at the Zoological Museum in Copenhagen. These bones came from a whale first found stranded on Henne Strand, Jutland, Denmark. It measured 14 meters in length and weighed an estimated 30 tonnes. The carcass was dissected and the bones cleaned under a lengthy process and then assembled at the museum.
