Caption: Satellites in wrong orbit. Computer illustration showing the incorrect orbit of two Galileo satellites launched on 22nd August 2014. Galileo is the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) that is currently being created by the European Union and the European Space Agency (ESA). It consists of a number of satellites in Earth orbit. On 22nd August 2014, two further Galileo satellites were launched from French Guiana but were injected into incorrect orbit.
