Caption: Mercury Planetary Orbiter. Computer artwork of the Mercury Planetary Orbiter (MPO) in orbit over Mercury. The MPO is one of two orbiters that are part of the BepiColombo mission. The other is the Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter (MMO). The MPO will orbit Mercury at low altitude and study and map the planet's surface. The mission is slated for launch in July 2016.
