Caption: Vostok 5 and 6, commemorative stamps. Postage stamps commemorating the flight of the Soviet Vostok 5 and Vostok 6 missions. Vostok 5 (launched 14th June 1963) carried pilot Valery Bykovsky (born 1934, left) and was a joint program with Vostok 6 (launched 16th June 1963, right), which was the first spaceflight mission to carry a woman, cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova (born 1937).
